What a perfect day yesterday was! Anna and Eric got married on a sunny October day supported by a wedding party of 21 and about 150 of their favorite people. At some point, we remarked on how everything had gone so smoothly on this day, and I have to say that it was not by accident. Anna and Eric allowed plenty of time for the different stages of the day. They opted for a first look and to take care of all wedding party portraits and 90% of family photos pre-ceremony. Afterward, they hung out and relaxed for a but until ceremony time. After the ceremony, we had two large group photos and then 25 minutes for romantic bride and groom portraits on the property. Scroll below for a snippet of highlights from their day.
This bouquet is everything, amirite?
I’m obsessed with how angelic the flower girls look in the lighting on the left. So precious.
So happy my second shooter Melinda got this photo! We anticipated a moment like this and planned for it ahead of time when we saw the light before the ceremony. She pulled through with his gorgeous photo of Anna and her father then hustled over to capture Eric’s reaction to that vision.
I’m also in love with this one that I got from my angle.
Anna and Eric’s ceremony was officiated by a friend of theirs! That personal touch makes all the difference. The ceremony was sweet and yet so entertaining. He told stories about how they met and spilled the tea about what all their friends were thinking when they started dating.
Post “I do”s, they strolled off into the sunset for a break while guests cleared the space for cocktail hour.
The Orchard is home to some beautiful livestock! Some photos with them were a must for Anna and Eric. Then, we moved over to a different area o the property to soak up that golden hour glow.
What I loovvvve about this venue is that it has wide open spaces with just the right amount of trees to filter sunlight during golden hour. It was the perfect backdrop for these fun and romantic bride and groom portraits with a dreamy aesthetic.
Shout out to Alba Dahlia Floral for their impeccable floral design. I will remember Anna’s bouquet forever.
Can’t forget that hair and makeup team either! Pretty on Premises did a gorgeous job. I’m always a fan of a bridal braid!
Y’all. Donuts. I rarely eat wedding cake but mannn, the smell of those glazed donuts really messed with me. Ha!
Congratulations to Anna and Eric!
