I married my husband, Chris on our sixth anniversary of dating. I'm sentimental like that. I was a June bride. Our first look and last dance were everything. We honeymooned in Paris and had a photo session along the Seine in our wedding clothes. We've been together 14 years.
We had our son in 2021 and while I've never been more tired, my heart bursts with infinite love for my wild, darling boy.
Our two rescue pups are his best friends, so yes I would love for you to include your dogs in your session. Always!
I love organizing and planning and I get my highs from happy-tear inducing moments and jaw-dropping sights. I was built for this job.

I'm CRISTY, the owner and principal photographer of this wedding and motherhood photography business. I've photographed weddings and growing families in North Texas since 2010. I earned my bachelor's in photojournalism in 2012 and officially launched my business in 2014. Although I'm based in Dallas, my career has taken me across Texas, the U.S. and Europe.
On shooting days I use my photojournalism training to photograph all of the big moments as they unfold as well as the magic of the in between - the glances, embraces, laugher and tears, all of it. The most exciting thing to me is exploring somewhere new with Chris. Lucky for me, we share our love of travel and dream big together. I'm never not planning a trip and always say yes to adventuring outside of Dallas.

On our honeymoon I got to visit Queen Mary's Rose Gardens in London. I felt so completely blissful by the sight and scent of thousands of roses in front of me. Also, peonies sometimes make me cry.

The smell of sunblock alone makes me so happy. I love sitting by the pool with a book and snacks in between dips in the water.

As soon as I could read, my favorite place was the bookstore. Harry Potter shaped by childhood - book release parties and midnight movie premieres brought so much joy.
