I married my husband, Chris on our sixth anniversary of dating. I'm sentimental like that. I was a June bride. Our first look and last dance were everything. We honeymooned in Paris and had a photo session along the Seine in our wedding attire. We've been together 11 years.
We have two adorable rescue pups who run our household. So the answer is yes, I would love for you to include yours in your engagement/bridal /maternity or lifestyle newborn session. Always!
I love organization and planning and I get my highs from happy-tear inducing moments and jaw-dropping sights. I was built for this job.
I'm CRISTY, the owner and principal photographer of this wedding and motherhood photography business. After earning my bachelor's in photojournalism and gaining years of portfolio building under my belt, in 2014 I officially launched my business. All in all, I've been photographing weddings and growing families in North Texas for 11 years. Although I'm based in Dallas, my career has taken me across Texas, the U.S. and Europe.
On shooting days I use my photojournalism training to photograph all of the big moments as they unfold as well as the magic of the in between - the glances, embraces, laugher and tears, all of it. My goal is to create images powerful enough to transport you back to moments and feelings you never want to forget. It's LIFE DOCUMENTED BEAUTIFULLY.
The most exciting thing to me is exploring somewhere new with Chris. Lucky for me, we share our love of travel and dream big together. I'm never not planning a trip and always say yes to adventuring outside of Dallas.
There's nothing like feeling the ocean breeze and seeing its power and beauty. I so wish I lived closer to a coast.
On our honeymoon I got to visit Queen Mary's Rose Gardens in London. I felt so completely blissful by the sight and scent of thousands of roses in front of me. Also, peonies sometimes make me cry.
The smell of sunblock alone makes me so happy. I love sitting by the pool with a book and snacks in between dips in the water.
As soon as I could read, my favorite place was the bookstore. Harry Potter shaped by childhood - book release parties and midnight movie premieres brought so much joy.
