I met Ann and Robert three and a half years ago when their son was born. They were one of my first newborn clients, back when I was only a few months in on taking my business full time and looking to branch out into lifestyle newborn sessions. I completely lucked out with these two. Ann and Robert are some of the nicest people I have ever worked with. Over the years, they’ve referred me to their friends and come back each year for mini sessions. Meeting with them is always a great experience and I feel so special to have been invited into their lives to document their son grow up. I was so happy when Ann reached out to tell me she was expecting a baby girl at the end of the year. It meant the world that she wanted me to photograph her newborn session when she arrived.
I love Ann’s style and knew her daughter’s nursery would be adorable. She even bought these floral wreath crib sheets for the newborn session. I loved it!
You can tell that Ann and Robert are thoughtful in their parenting. They’re kind to each other. Their home feels like a happy place, and their son is curious and sweet and seems to have so much fun being a new big brother. These little ones are very lucky.
I photographed their session around Christmastime and they wanted some family photos in Christmas pajamas, just hanging around on the bed.
I think they turned out so cute!
