Samantha and Alex booked their photography with me about 16 months in advance, but moved across the state halfway through their engagement so I didn’t get to meet them until the big day. Five months later and I still remember how unbelievable sweet they were. From the get go, Samantha and Alex, and really their entire families, were so welcoming and helpful. From the parents to the wedding party, everyone was kind and upbeat. You could feel how excited everyone was for the wedding to get started. The bride and groom are high school sweethearts whose 10-year relationship built the foundation for their marriage. When Samantha finally got to walk down the aisle, they were both all smiles, with a little bit of happy tears mixed in.
After saying “I do” and before heading off to their huge reception, we took their portraits, and I swear I didn’t hear a single complaint from wedding party or couple about the mid-June heat. Total sweethearts. Their reception was filled with so many friends and family, all just so excited to celebrate this couple they had already grown to love like family over the last decade. It was a special day to be a part of and I’m happy to finally share just a few of my favorite photos from the day.
