My goodness, this wedding! First of all, I love this couple. Through their proposal, engagement session, wedding day, delivery of images and after, they have been some of the sweetest clients I’ve ever worked with.
Nincy allowed for plenty of photography coverage in her wedding day timeline and I’ve come to notice that each time we have an extra-long wedding day, magic happens. I can’t stress it enough – allowing for more time always, always helps. The day started out overcast and drizzly while the bride and groom got ready, but by the time their first look was through, the rain stopped, allowing us to photograph some portraits outdoors. After portraits, it was straight to the church for their lovely ceremony. The massive church was filled to the brim with Nick and Nincy’s favorite people who celebrated with them at the reception too. They made a grand entrance into their reception before a romantic first dance. While their guests had dinner, Nincy had an outfit change and the couple along with their wedding party re-entered the party led by Dhol drummers. To get the party started, friends and family surprised the couple with amazing choreographed routines, then the DJ filled the dance floor as the drummers played along. Only a few times a year do I see a dance floor so packed with smiling faces dancing their hearts out. It was the perfect celebration of love and a fun beginning to what I know will be a beautiful marriage. Here are some of my favorites:
