Plano Lifestyle Newborn Session with Deanie Michelle and Family

This blog post is long overdue! Baby Samuel is the youngest of  three adorable boys, and he was born at the end of last year. I only get to blog once in a while, when I catch a quick break from editing and I realized yesterday that this session still hadn’t been shared! I’ve posted a few on my Instagram over the past year because it’s much quicker to upload and share that way, but to get the full effect, here are many more favorites from the session.

I did a lifestyle newborn session for their second-born son back in 2015 and fell in love right away with the nursery she styled for him. White walls and furniture photograph so well, especially when there’s a window letting the light in. This time around, some furniture has been rearranged and art has been put up on the walls, but it’s still got that bright, elegant look that I adore shooting in. I love the way she pairs just enough soft colors into the mix to warm up the space without taking away from the clean look.

Lighting, complementary, light-hued home decor and outfit styling make such a difference with at-home sessions and Deanie‘s home and family are perfect for these shoots. I’ve photographed this family a handful of times now over the past couple of years so I have such an affection for her kids! Her oldest is so fun and smart and of course, having photographed Josh’s as a newborn,  it’s been the sweetest experience watching him grow.
